v4.0 (running backfire r22235)

• Broadcom wireless (mac80211)
  • Distance setting throws error (https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/7627)
  • rts and frag not supported yet
  • wireless statistics are not supported (only really care about rssi). in backfire it looks like this info would be collected in proc/net/wireless I'd like to be able to get rssi for a particular ip using iwspy (could do this in 2.4 kernel on kamikaze)
  • adhoc mode only supports 1Mbps rate https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/6989

• Atheros mac80211/ath9k
  • txantenna, rxantenna, and diversity seem to have no effect (on DIR-825 antenna far from power is always enabled on 5Ghz): https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=113756#p113756
  • noise level is not available in any tool.

• OpenWRT does not read hosts file written by olsr. --> OLSR domain names do not resolve.
